System design

The design stage sizes the array, the inverter and the storage against each other. Undersized storage on a large array wastes generation; an oversized inverter on a small array wastes money. We size to your usage pattern and tell you plainly what the system will and will not carry, including which heavy loads such as geysers, stoves and pool pumps should stay off backup.

Solar panels

Panels are mounted on rails suited to your roof type, whether that is tile, IBR sheeting or concrete. Fixings and waterproofing are chosen for the roof, and cable runs are routed in conduit rather than left loose. Placement is planned around chimney, tree and neighbouring-wall shade at different times of day.

Inverters and batteries

The inverter is the heart of the system, and the battery decides how long you last without sun. We install hybrid and off-grid inverter setups with lithium storage, mount and ventilate them correctly, and label the changeover clearly so anyone in the household can understand the system.

Backup power without full solar

Not every property needs panels on day one. An inverter and battery installed to carry essential circuits gives you immediate protection from outages, and the array can be added later if the mounting and cabling are planned for it now. We build backup systems with that upgrade path in mind.

Residential and commercial systems

For homes the priority is usually lights, Wi-Fi, TV, fridge, alarm and gate. For offices, shops and guesthouses it is tills, routers, card machines, freezers and lighting, where a few hours of downtime costs real money. Commercial work is scoped on site because three-phase supply, distribution layout and roof access vary widely.
